You will learn all the basics of putting, chipping, full swing, rules and etiquette. You’ll also learn some practice techniques to guide you as you develop your skills.
Our approach is to teach you the entire golf swing from the ground up, gaining a solid foundation on which to build.
Bring any questions you may have, as this is a perfect opportunity to have a professional instructor guide you on the right path.

Blast 2 is a one-hour continuation class to brush-up on what you learned in Beginner Blast 1. This class will cover putting, chipping and full swing with a review of techniques from first class and checking to make sure you are correctly practicing what you learned.

Junior Beginner Blast Class (ages 7-13)
$15 per student, includes a large bucket of range balls ($10 value)
Same as the Adult Beginner Blast class, but in one hour (kids learn faster!)
Beginner “Ready for the Course” Q&A Discussion -- Free
From time to time we have a FREE class where you can come ask one of our golf professionals any questions you may have about going to the golf course and what you should know before you do. They’ll answer your “how-to” questions about taking your game from the range to the course. We have handouts covering the most frequently asked questions so you can take it home and read it at your leisure.
Discussion topics: etiquette do's and don'ts, should I keep score and what is a handicap, what do I need in my golf bag and in my pockets, how to set up a tee time and where are good beginner courses in this area, what is "pace of play", do I have to know the rules, and what is “proper golf course attire.” This is a great chance to talk to a pro – and there are NO stupid questions. We’re talk about anything you want.
Loaner Clubs:
CGC provides free left- and right-hand clubs and putters for men, women and juniors to use during your lesson time until you decide to purchase your own. If you want to use these clubs just to practice at a time other than during a lesson, there is a rental fee of $3 for woods and $1 for irons or putters.

TESTIMONIAL FROM CUSTOMER
From Lori B. of Carlsbad, CA
Me and 6 other employees took the Beginner Blast class taught by Mug [Ogg, Facility Manager] yesterday afternoon. Wow, did we learn a lot of good techniques!! We're hoping to get a golf clinic started at various times so that even second shift employees can take lessons, too. Many of us will become better golfers, thanks to you!!
